ComBase 2008/2009
ComBase 2008/2009 is the follow up study to the first national ComBase study conducted in 2003/2005.
ComBase 2008/2009 features changes to the original methodology including the elimination of the rolling sample. As a result, the number of interviews in the majority of markets have increased and the study will not involve a data merge this time. Markets with household counts more than 1,000 have a minimum of 200 interviews while smaller markets have either 100 or 150 interviews.
ComBase 2008/2009 will be conducted in more than 200 markets across the country resulting in more than 40,000 interviews. The questionnaire has remained relatively unchanged with some additional questions on the internet, readership of online newspapers and flyer usage.
Leger Marketing will be conducting the new study with geographic market definitions supplied by ROI Media and the CMC Market Analyzer. Data will continue to be available through IMS and Telmar.
